We believe that, by definition, all Christians must
agree with the following tenets:
1. There is one God, the creator of all things, who
makes Himself known to us as three personalities: Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit.
2. Man, although created in the
very image of God, sinned and was separated from God by his sin.
3. Jesus, the Son of God, was sent to redeem mankind.
He took human form, being born to the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life
and died on the cross as a substitute for us. He was bodily
resurrected and, after a short time amongst His disciples, returned to
His throne, seated next to the Father. At a time of the Father's
choosing, He will come again.
4. The Bible, as originally written, is the inspired
word of God, authoritative and error-free. With careful study, we
can learn the character of God, and His will for our lives.
We also believe there are certain things that
must be bound if we are to operate in harmony.
1. Healthy debate is not only
accepted, but welcomed within this community. Personal attacks are
not. Issues that are definitively addressed in the Bible are
considered closed. All else is open to discussion.
2. We do not believe in or
promote hatred toward any person, regardless of race, sex, ethnic
background, disability, political leaning, religion, sect, sexual
preference, financial standing or for any reason.
3. Esprit Omnimedia will never
knowingly support any project or organization that is inconsistent with
God's will or that does not have Christian leadership. For
example, although we actively support the search for a cure to AIDS, we
are unable to support any organization that promotes a homosexual
lifestyle.
If you have read our charter and take issue with it,
please send a scripture-based argument for its improvement to
info@esprit-omnimedia.com.
